Scope

This standard specifies a general method for extracting antifouling agents from films of antifouling paints immersed in artificial seawater under specified laboratory conditions. This standard combines with other standards in KS M ISO 15181 to determine the content of specific antifouling agents (e.g. copper and/or some organic antifouling agents) in extracts and to calculate the release rate of specific antifouling agents from paint films under specified laboratory conditions.
