Scope

This standard specifies a method for measuring or inspecting the particle size distribution of microgrits from F230 to F2000 of molten aluminum oxide and silicon carbide. It also specifies the grain size distribution of microgrits from F230 to F2000 of molten aluminum oxide and silicon carbide. It also specifies the size distribution of microgrits used in manufacturing general industrial or abrasive products. Specifies the grain designation for testing grains and grains dropped from abrasive products.
