This standard provides guidance on sewerage project management and evaluation of sewerage services. This standard applies to both public and private sewerage operators. However, there is no preference for any particular ownership or operating model. This standard addresses sewage systems as a whole and applies to all different levels of the system (e.g. conventional toilets, on-site systems, sewer networks, sewage treatment plants). The scope of the standard is as follows:
——Definition of language to be commonly used by different stakeholders - Goals of the sewerage project - Guidelines for management of the sewerage project - Examples of service evaluation criteria and related performance indicators: Any target values However, if no limit values are set, the following are not covered in this standard:
——Design and construction methods of sewerage systems - Regulation of the structure and methods of operation and management of sewerage services - Regulation of the content of contracts or subcontracts - Collection points and Matters related to the internal system of facilities between discharge points
