1.1 This standard provides guidance on the reporting, presentation and visualization of electrochemical corrosion data and includes recommendations for symbols and provisions. 1.2 The recommendations exemplified in this standard include: electropotential and electropotential polarization; Corrosion data obtained from electrochemical tests such as polarization resistance, electrochemical impedance and admittance measurements, galvanic corrosion, open-circuit potential measurements, etc. can be used to prepare reports.1.3 The standard covers all types of safety issues. That is not the case. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to develop an appropriate safety and health plan and determine the applicability of any legal restrictions prior to using this standard.
