- This standard describes the principle of direct determination of iron, nickel, copper, manganese and magnesium in metallic calcium by atomic absorption method, and specifies the analysis steps, calculation of results and precision of the method. This standard is applicable to the determination of copper, manganese and magnesium content in Ca-03, Ca-1, Ca-2 and Ca-3 of metal calcium product series; the determination of iron and nickel content in Ca1, Ca-2 and Ca-3.
