Scope

This standard specifies methods for calculating phase currents and circulating currents for single-core cables laid in parallel. The methods described in this standard can be used for a wide variety of cables, depending on the phases laid in parallel in the physical arrangement. Phase currents can be calculated for a cis junction arrangement. To calculate sheath loss, assume that the sheath is bonded at both ends. The method for calculating the sheath eddy current loss rate of a balanced two-line circuit is specified in KS C IEC 60287-1-2.?
