For ease of transportation, this standard also applies to appliances supplied as multiple parts (accessories) that form one assembled product without the use of additional parts when assembled at the installation site. Applies. Electrical parts of appliances utilizing other forms of energy are also included in the scope of this standard. This standard addresses, to the extent practicable, the general hazards posed by appliances of this type.
