This clause of Part 1 is replaced by the following: This standard covers the safety of household and similar electric kitchen appliances, the rated voltage of which shall not exceed 250 V. They are intended for household and similar purposes and are not intended for use by non-professionals in shops, factories or other facilities. Appliances that can be used in light industry and even on farms are included in the scope of this standard. However, if the appliance is intended for use in the professional processing of food for commercial consumption, the appliance is not considered for domestic and similar use. Although the standard covers all possible common hazards encountered by users when using the device, it does not generally provide for the following situations:
——Without supervision or instruction due to lack of physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge. People who cannot use the device safely (including children) - Children playing with the device
