- This standard specifies the basic parameters of cylindrical worm drives. This standard applies to power cylindrical worm drives with a modulus m equal to or greater than 1 mm and a shaft angle Σ equal to 90°. Indexing worm drives and other worm drives with special structures should also refer to the provisions of this standard.
