Scope

This standard specifies methods for indicating the drawing, dimensions, and tolerances of aspherical optical surfaces in drawings for manufacturing and inspection of optics and photonics. This standard does not apply to discontinuous surfaces (e.g. Fresnel surfaces or grid surfaces).
