Scope
This part of NB/T 47013 specifies the magnetic flux leakage testing and result evaluation methods for pressure-bearing equipment, seamless steel pipes and welded pipes (except submerged arc welding) made of ferromagnetic materials. This section is suitable for magnetic flux leakage detection of corrosion and mechanical damage on the internal and external surfaces of coated or uncoated ferromagnetic material pressure-bearing equipment and component base materials. The thickness of the inspected workpiece generally does not exceed 30mm. , the diameter of the pipe fitting shall not be less than 9mm. Please refer to this section for crack detection of pressure equipment and magnetic leakage detection of normal pressure storage tanks.
