Scope

This part of NB/T 47013 specifies the eddy current testing methods and quality classification requirements for pressure equipment. This section is applicable to the eddy current detection of surface and near-surface defects of conductive metal material pipes, parts, and welded joints used in pressure-bearing equipment in production and in use, and is applicable to the magnetic method and eddy current method measurement of the thickness of the surface covering layer of the metal substrate. Eddy current testing of supports and structural parts related to pressure-bearing equipment may also be used with reference to this section.
