Scope

This standard is applicable to the selection and calculation of current transformers and voltage transformers for protection and measurement in new, expansion and reconstruction projects of power plants with a single unit capacity of 1000MW and below, and substations of 1000kV and below. It is not applicable to special converters inside measuring and protection devices, special transformers for AC operation and transformers for laboratory use.
