This standard specifies guiding methods for 26 environmental tests of civil aviation engine system components. This standard is applicable to the environmental testing of components of civil aviation engine control systems, lubrication systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and thrust reverse systems. Environmental testing of components of aircraft hydraulic systems, electrical systems, environmental control and other systems can be performed with reference to this standard.
