Scope

This standard specifies methods and equipment for the unintentional transfer and illegal transfer of radioactive materials, and provides guidelines for the use of fixed, handheld and pocket-sized radioactive material radiation monitors in such monitoring. This standard applies to the monitoring of unintentional transfer and illegal transportation of radioactive materials at border ports, seaports, airports and similar locations.
