Scope

This standard specifies the design requirements, basic functional characteristics, test methods and inspection rules for fixed α and β radiation personal surface pollution monitoring devices (hereinafter referred to as devices). This standard applies to fixed α and β radiation personal surface contamination monitoring devices (whether clothed or unclothed).
