Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of rolling blood pumps. This standard applies to the rolling blood pump of artificial heart-lung machine (hereinafter referred to as blood pump), which is used by medical institutions to replace human heart function for extracorporeal circulation when performing open-heart surgery.
