Scope

This standard specifies the test method for medical diagnostic X-ray machine tube voltage, calculation and evaluation of test results. This standard is applicable to the test of tube voltage of medical diagnostic X-ray machines during product identification test, factory inspection and type test. This standard does not apply to the test of medical diagnostic X-ray tube voltage using grid-controlled X-ray tubes.
