This standard specifies the general principles, basic functions, configuration principles, technical indicators, interfaces, operating environment, and related information exchange requirements for the application of small hydropower station monitoring and protection equipment. This standard applies to the design, construction, acceptance and operation of new and renovated hydropower stations with a total installed capacity of 50MW and below and a single unit capacity of 0.1MW and above.
