Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements and testing requirements for security configuration of operating systems used in telecommunications networks and the Internet, especially the security configuration of Windows operating systems, Linux operating systems, Solaris operating systems, HP-ux operating systems, and AIX operating systems. Basic requirements and reference operations. Detection is to operate the operating system actually used on the existing network. This standard applies to all security protection levels of networks and systems using Windows operating systems, Linux operating systems, Solaris operating systems, HP-ux operating systems and AIX operating systems in the security protection system. Due to different versions, configuration operations are different. This standard takes Windows 2003, Linux kernel version 2.6 and above, Solaris8/10, Hp-uxl1v211v3, and AIX 5.X as examples to give reference configuration operations.
