This standard specifies the basic requirements and testing requirements for security configuration of databases used in telecommunications networks and the Internet, especially the basic requirements and reference operations for security configuration of MSSQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle. Detection is to operate on the database actually used on the existing network. This standard applies to networks and systems of all security protection levels that use MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle databases in the security protection system. Due to different versions, the configuration operations are different. This standard takes MS SQL SERVER2000, MySQL5.05.1 on the UNIX platform, and Oracle 10g on the UNIX platform as examples to give reference configuration operations.
