This standard specifies the classification and marking of galvanized steel wire for mesh fences, ordering content, diameter, shape, weight and allowable deviations, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates, etc. This standard applies to galvanized steel wire (hereinafter referred to as steel wire) for general purpose fences, barbed wire fences, grassland braided mesh fences and twisted mesh fences.
