- This standard specifies the basic requirements for the aging management of heat transfer branch pipes in heavy water reactor nuclear power plants throughout their life. This standard is mainly applicable to the planning, implementation and improvement of the aging management of heat transfer branch pipes in heavy water reactor nuclear power plants during the in-service stage. It can also be used for the aging management in the pre-service and decommis ioning stages.
