Scope
This standard specifies the main functions, system design criteria and requirements of the passive pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant equipment cooling water system to ensure that the system can safely and reliably perform its intended functions. This standard applies to the design of the cooling water system of passive pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant equipment. It does not include specific design requirements for the system equipment, nor does it include the operation, maintenance and testing requirements of the system, unless it is directly related to the system design.
