Scope

This part of IEC 61375 specifies the data communications network within a Train based on Ethernet technology, the Train Ethernet Network (ECN). The applicability of this part of IEC 61375 to the Train Ethernet Network Rame allows the interoperability of each trainset of Multiple Trains in international traffic. Upon agreement between buyer and supplier, this part of IEC 61375 may also apply to Trains and Multiple Trains.
