Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the coefficient of linear expansion of plastics at a fixed point temperature. This standard applies to the determination of the linear expansion coefficient of plastics. This standard does not apply to the determination of the coefficient of linear expansion of low-density foamed plastics.
