Scope

This standard specifies the size, shape, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, etc. of hot-rolled thin steel plates and strips of carbon structural steel and low alloy structural steel. This standard applies to hot-rolled steel sheets and strips of carbon structural steel and low-alloy structural steel with a thickness not greater than 4mm.
