Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for the conditions of use of standard volumetric tubes, preparations before use, trial operation, and verification of positive displacement flowmeters. This standard applies to the verification of positive displacement flowmeters using liquid as the measuring medium with standard volumetric tubes. This standard does not apply to small volume standard volume tubes imported from abroad.
