This European Standard applies to the design and manufacture of self-contained automatic dividers, having a feed hopper, an outlet and a compact frame. These automatic dividers are used individually or in a production line in the food industry and food businesses (pastry shops, bakeries, confectioners, etc.) to divide dough or pastries into adjustable portions in order to produce dough pieces of a determined weight during the dividing process. These machines can be powered by manually or mechanically.
