This European Standard specifies generic cabling that supports a wide range of communications services for use in single or multi-building premis s on a campus. It addresses the increasing use of generic cabling to support non-user specific services, many of which require the use of remote power devices, including telecommunications, energy management, control environment, personnel management, personal information and alarms.
