This International Standard describes the rules for thermoluminescence dosimetry (TLD) procedures, applications and systems for dose measurements according to the probe technique. It applies in particular to solid "TL detectors", namely sticks, pellets and microcubes made from LiF:Mg,Ti or LiF:Mg,Cu,P in crystalline or polycrystalline form.
