- This standard specifies the reference coordinate system for the orientation coding method of composite fiber reinforcements, the orientation coding of laminate reinforcements, the orientation coding of braided reinforcements and the simplified orientation coding method for computer systems. This standard applies to the orientation coding of laminates and two-dimensional braided reinforcements, and also applies to the orientation coding of continuous filament wound materials.
