This part of GB/T 11017 specifies the test methods and requirements for the XLPE insulated power cable system, the cable body and its accessory body for fixed installation with a rated voltage of 110 kV (Um = 126 kV). This section applies to single-core cables and their accessories used under normal installation and operating conditions, but not to cables and their accessories used under special conditions, such as submarine cables. For cables and accessories for these special purposes, it may be necessary to modify the tests in this section or it may be necessary to set some special test conditions. This section does not include transition joints connecting XLPE insulated cables and paper insulated cables.
