- This standard specifies the test power supply, instrument selection, pre-test inspection and various test methods of DC motors (hereinafter referred to as motors). This standard applies to motors for general use. For motors with special purposes or special test requirements, any test methods not specified in this standard shall be supplemented in the standards of this type of motor.
