Scope: This standard specifies the test method for the determination of formaldehyde content in food detergents. This standard applies to the determination of formaldehyde content in food detergents, and also applies to the determination of formaldehyde content in non-food detergents. If there is a formaldehyde donor in the detergent, the measurement result is the total formaldehyde content that may be generated. The detection limit of the quantitative determination method was 0.7 μg, and the lowest quantitative detection limit was 3 μg. When 1 g sample was weighed for testing, the detection limit of the method was 0.7 μg/g, and the lowest quantitative detection limit was 3 μg/g.
