Scope: This standard specifies the marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, instructions for use, transportation and storage of closed-circuit spray dryers (hereinafter referred to as dryers). This standard applies to centrifugal closed-circuit spray dryers containing organic solvents, easily oxidized and flammable and explosive materials. This standard does not apply to pressure-type closed-circuit spray dryers.
