Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of liquid crystal voice time quartz clocks (hereinafter referred to as "chimes"). This standard applies to clocks with a quartz resonator, a nominal operating voltage of DC3.0V, a liquid crystal dis lay of time and the ability to broadcast the current time. Other types of clocks can also refer to this standard.
