- This standard specifies the variety specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging and marking of round resistance alloy wires enameled or un-enameled with silk or impregnated alkali-free glass fiber polyester. This standard applies to the manufacture of polyester enamelled or unenameled round resistance alloy wires coated and insulated with silk or impregnated alkali-free glass fibers (hereinafter referred to as silk-coated resistance wires).
