This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, codes and marks, ordering content, size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, signs, quality certificates, etc. of steel wire for prestressed concrete. This standard applies to cold-drawn or stress-relieved low-relaxation smooth round, spiral-ribbed and scored steel wires for prestressed concrete, of which cold-drawn steel wires are only used for pressure pipes. According to the design and construction method, the pre-tensioning method and post-tensioning method are suitable for manufacturing high-efficiency prestressed concrete structures.
