Scope
This document sets out the minimum technical characteris ics required for VHF radiotelephones operating in the bands between 156 MHz and 174 MHz allocated to maritime mobile services, and compatible with fixed installation in a lifeboat, in accordance with the provis ons of the Global Dis ress System and Safety at Sea (GMDSS).
