Scope

This document covers the technical requirements for wireless transmitters and receivers used in stations in the private mobile radiocommunication (PMR) service. It applies to equipment in the land mobile service operating at radio frequencies between 30 MHz and 1 GHz, with spacings between channels of 12.5 kHz, 20 kHz and 25 kHz, intended primarily for analog speech.
