Scope
This European Standard specifies the fundamental techniques of film radiography and digital radiography to achieve satis actory and reproducible results in an economical manner. The techniques are based on generally accepted practice and fundamental theory. This European Standard applies to the radiographic examination of pipelines made of metallic materials to detect service-induced defects such as pitting, corrosion widespread and erosion.
