This European Standard specifies requirements for high security locks (HSL) with regard to their reliability, resis ance to burglary and unauthorized opening, as well as test methods. It also provides a system for classifying HSLs based on their estimated resis ance to burglary and unauthorized opening. It applies to mechanical and electronic HSLs. The following features may be included as an option, but are not mandatory:a) a recognized code preventing code changing and/or enabling/dis bling of parallel codes;b) a recognized code for overriding settings
