This standard specifies the structural form, model and specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of epoxy-coated high-strength steel wire cables (referred to as epoxy-coated steel wire cables). This standard is applicable to cables, slings, and tie rods used in cable bridges and arch bridges. The cables used in other structures may be used as a reference.
