- This standard specifies the on-site inspection requirements and inspection methods for nuclear air purification systems used in nuclear power plants and other nuclear facilities. This standard applies to on-site inspection of nuclear air purification systems and provides a basis for formulating inspection programs and inspection details. This standard does not apply to performance testing of individual purification equipment and components at the manufacturing plant or during the delivery acceptance process.
