- This standard specifies the terms of agreement for magnetic particle flaw detection of rail transit wheels, personnel and flaw detection requirements, flaw detection timing and surface conditions to be inspected, main characteristics of equipment, magnetic suspension and detection technology, sensitivity settings and detection, demagnetization, etc. This method is suitable for magnetic particle inspection of all surfaces of wheels for railway locomotives and vehicles, rolled steel and cast steel integral wheels for urban rail transit vehicles, except the axle hole.
