Scope

This standard specifies the definition, classification, brand, ordering content, size, shape, weight and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificates of corrosion-resistant steel bars for concrete structures. This standard applies to hot-rolled or controlled-rolled and controlled-cooling corrosion-resistant ribbed steel bars (hereinafter referred to as steel bars) for reinforced concrete that meet durability design requirements. This standard does not apply to stainless steel steel bars.
