- This standard specifies the test method for the antibacterial performance of rubber shoes and their parts that have been treated with antibacterial and deodorizing processes using the agar plate method. This standard applies to the determination of the antibacterial properties of rubber shoes and their components. This standard does not apply to samples in which the antibacterial agent does not diffuse at all on the test agar, nor does it apply to samples in which the antibacterial agent reacts with the agar.
