This standard specifies the recommended adjustment amounts for conveyor belt tensioning devices. It is suitable for conveyors with a transport distance of no more than 300 m and equipped with fabric core conveyor belts. Due to the wide variety of conveyor belts, there are many factors that need to be considered when determining the adjustment amount of the tensioning device, so it is impossible to propose a general value suitable for all situations. For fabric core conveyor belts longer than 300 m and metal core conveyor belts of any length, the manufacturer should explain the basis for selecting the adjustment amount.
