Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of air source heat pump water heaters for swimming pools (hereinafter referred to as "swimming pool heat pumps"). This standard is applicable to heat pump water heaters driven by electric motors, with vapor compression refrigeration cycle, using air as the heat source, for the purpose of providing hot water for swimming pools. Other air source heat pump water heaters with similar purposes can also be used with reference.
